Get involved

We welcome your participation at our upcoming public rituals and classes and encourage community participation in leadership roles and decision making – whether helping build a ritual altar or sitting on a planning committee.

If you have limited experience with the Reclaiming tradition and want help plan events, please consider yourself an apprentice for several meetings until you learn how to actively listen and create a safe space for others to speak.

You can also connect with like-minded people and start a new working group in your local Southern California area. Working groups will be considered part of Reclaiming LA when they register with the Elder Council and ask to be included as a contact on the Reclaiming LA. website. Working groups self-govern and host public events for the benefit of the greater community. Practices of working groups must be aligned with Reclaiming-L.A. vision statement and based in the Reclaiming tradition. Working groups receive organizational support from the Council of Elders and/or participate in leadership workshops.
